Audrey Large FR
Audrey Large (born in Toulouse, France in 1994) is an artist and designer based in the Netherlands working accross digital sculpture and object design. Her practice looks at digital cinema, image theory and the potential of digital image manipulation when combined with digital fabrication processes such as 3d printing in order to challenge the way we perceive matter in the digital age.
Audrey Large graduated from MA Social Design at Design Academy Eindhoven with Cum Laude in 2017. Designer in residence at the Jan Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht in 2019-2020, she receives the Dutch De- sign Award in the Young Designer category in 2021, and the Dezeen Emerging Designer award in 2023.
Her work has been exhibited in group shows at international museums such as the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam (which also acquired one of her works for its permanent collection), the Design Museum in London, the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein and the Nxt Museum in Amsterdam. She works with the Milanese gallery Nilufar, which has dedicated solo exhibitions to her in 2021 and 2023.
